Beast Gravel Bar – Comfort in all hand positions

The engineers at Beast Components have set themselves a clear goal: the definition of a perfect gravel handlebar. The result is the Gravel Bar, specially designed for off-road use. The construction of the carbon handlebar was chosen to absorb and dampen the impact of the Trail to minimize upper body fatigue. Still, there is enough stiffness to get direct feedback from the terrain.

The novelty of the Gravel Bar by Beast Components is the uniquely designed corner area of the hoods in combination with the ergonomically flat designed tops. This design not only provides the ultimate in added comfort, but also offers a secure grip feeling for all riders who prefer an outer positioning of the hands. For those who prefer riding in the drops, 24° X-Flare deliver stronger control and more confidence in almost any situation. And if things get too fast, the compact design with 110 mm drop makes it quick and easy to reach the brake lever.

The 400 mm model also features an adapted cross-section, which is particularly suitable for smaller hands. Handmade in Germany.

Interface Reinforcement (IR) | Beast Components has developed the pressure-absorbing IR protective layer so that different tolerances and unfavorable mechanisms do not lead to compatibility problems when fixing handlebars, stems or seatposts. The extremely fracture-resistant layer made of thermoplastic high-tech fibers withstands higher punctual loads and strengthens the clamping areas accordingly to decisively improve the durability and user-friendliness of safety-relevant carbon components.

Handmade Quality. The Beast Carbon components are created completely in-house at Black East GmbH in Dresden – here wheels are loved and lightweight construction is lived. The fairly young company is a spin-off of the Rolls-Royce University Technology Centre of the Technical University of Dresden. Here, scientific standards are the top priority when working with carbon as a material. With the help of the latest techniques from the automotive industry, aerospace and innovative manufacturing processes, the company aims to significantly improve the quality and suitability for everyday use of racing bikes and mountain bikes.
